WEST VIRGINIA DAIRY CATTLE SHOW AND FESTIVAL, INC.

Welcome to the 2012 West Virginia Dairy Cattle Show and Festival web site.  On behalf of the Board of Directors, I wish to say “thank you” to the many volunteers that faithfully work year after year to produce the Dairy Show.  Also, I know from personal experience the effort, time and dollars it takes to show an animal – we appreciate and value our exhibitors.

The Dairy Show’s long history (this is the 69th  Show) would not be possible without the support of the WV Department of Agriculture, the WVU Extension Service and the WV State Legislature.  During these challenging economic times, it is imperative that we recognize these stalwart supporters.

Though the world has changed since the first show in 1938, the Dairy Show is still a unique experience for the youth and adults of our state.  The Dairy Show includes the Dairy Bowl, State Dairy Cattle Judging Contest, Cattle Show, Dairy Skillathon, Youth Showmanship Contest, State Dairy Princess Contest and Ice Cream Social.  Join in the fun!
